I recently saw this at Hammersmith station and thought it was genius. It’s another example of a great VW ad. I like the way they have used plain text and typographic conventions to convey a really subtle message about efficiency. It also works on different levels of detail: the gag, the key message and then the whole text which gives you more information about what VW are trying to say. Very clever!
